Hi, you seem to know what you are talking about when it comes to macs and video cards. May I ask you a question? I purchased a brand new Samsung 22' second monitor for my G5, and was dismayed to find that I could not hook it up to my computer on account of the only available port left on my card is an old ADC port and my new monitor was VGA.
I could not find a working solution (converter from ADC to vga) so I decided the next course of action was to purchase a video card that would allow me to run dual monitors using DVI for one monitor and VGA port for the other. I bought an nVIDIA GeForce™ 6200 256MB DDR2 AGP that is supposed to be a modified PC card re-engineered to work on a Powermac G4 & G5. Well, wouldn't you guess? It doesn't work. I get scrambled screens on both monitors. Nothing seems to work. There are no drivers available for the mac at the nvidia site.
