Never strays too far from the spotlight. After designing an extremely well-received capsule collection of apparel and footwear for Serena Williams, the unfailingly creative multi-hyphenate is back in the headlines again just in time for New York Fashion Week as official images of his “Menta” s have surfaced.

Air Max 7 Zip For Mac

First teased back in June during ‘s Paris Fashion Week runway show, Abloh’s newest take on the iconic runner features a speedy two-tone grey upper complete with a tri-colored Swoosh. The Chicago-born designer’s uncanny talent for stripping a shoe down to its bare essentials is on full display, as the aforementioned two-tone upper design features a darker grey on the bottom to represent the mudguard, while a lighter grey materializes up top to replace the shoe’s standard bullet-train inspired overlays.

The midfoot Swoosh fades from teal to blue to pink, while Abloh’s signature Helvetica font is present via bold black medial side text and “AIR”/”SHOELACES” hits. The asymmetrical tongue patch from the original 2017 release returns, as does the infamous zip tie that adorns all of the designer’s Nike footwear. The shoe is then completed by a simple grey midsole/Air Max unit, translucent outsole, and an extra pair of teal laces if the wearer desires extra contrast.
